The practice of mindfulness comes in many forms. It has been used in Eastern cultures for nearly 3,000 years, and in more recent years, the value of mindfulness has been recognised by Western practices. There is now a significant body of research that shows that developing mindfulness has a significant positive effect on our wellbeing. Mindfulness helps us to be more present with whatever is going on for us, creating space for us to make wiser choices in our lives.
